So now we get an idea of the part Barley has played beyond just the selling of Chickenhare and Abe to Klaus in volume one. This is the first tie in a while I actually made myself laugh while laying in the copy on a page. He’s done punchin’ babies, so don’t ask.

Agreed, the narration over dialogue is hilarious, and works surprisingly well!!
ditto Max’ comment about the narration over dialogue thing – very funny.
Done punchin’ babies? What a wuss. I never get tired of punchin’ babies!
Punching babies??? Now I’m strangely curious…
Oh how many times I told myself I was done punchin’ babies, only for the promise of a good paycheck to throw me right back again.
Thanks Max. The whole time I was writing it I was questioning if it would work. I think it does and I’m glad you enjoyed it.
This “narration over dialogue” thing may or may not be entirely new but it does work surprisingly well hilarity-wise…
